Hey we got a blog! And a new Show!

Hello and welcome to the brand new Manxome Foe blog - your source for all things manxome! 

To kick it off we have a brand new show announced for the summer! The KID PIX Show! Ever used KID PIX? if you have then you know why were doing a whole show dedicated to it - if you haven't then try it already oh my gawd! 

KID PIX is an award-winning, ground-breaking paint program for kids designed by Craig Hickson. The interface is brilliantly simple and the tools, sounds, and functions it performs are just brilliant. Newer versions of the program have little of the charm of the first few versions and and are, unfortunately, the only versions that will run on newer computers, but we have and older version on an older computer at the gallery that is available for use by all! we will have KID PIX soirees where artists will be invited to come and use the program to create art for the show - more to come on that, but in the meantime Craig Hickson has another very interesting paint program, Beautiful Dorena, that is available for free download here:
